Oh my goodness, the last day! The camp went by way too fast! We had a great day though. It was made even better because we got to celebrate Queralt Ferre's birthday! Happy birthday to you, we hope it was one you will always remember. After singing to her, we surprised the kids with an obstacle course that lead us to where we would eat breakfast. The course used activities that we have done at the camp such as juggling and balancing. They even had their last encounter with Mr. Rostroy Dry. After this the kids got to go on a boat tour!
To get the kids ready for the boat we went over some boating terms with them. For example anchor, steering wheel, and waves.  The boat took us to Cap De Creus and then back to Llança. Along the way the boat would stop and talk about the historic places. Did you know that Salvador Dali was inspired by the area around Cap De Creus? For the children, the best part was when the boat would go over waves.
Merce, Juan Carlos, and all the staff at the camp would like to tell you what a joy it has been to spend time with your kids this month! It was sad to have to say goodbye to them this afternoon. We have all become attached and will remember this summer for a long time. If your child had a great time learning and having fun this month please feel free to ask about language lessons during the year. Classes start in September :).
