Adults and Learning

    We have all kinds of learning going on at friends: French, English, Spanish, and now German. The learning is not just for children or teenagers though! Adults can learn new languages also. We have a range of classes for adults from beginners to advanced. If you own a business, work in a store that gets tourists, or would enjoy trying something new languages are an excellent tool to have.

    To some the idea of learning a new language seems like it is not possible if you have not started from a young age. That is just not the case though. It is an adventure that can open yourself up to new experiences and meeting new people. So whether you are two or forty - two we welcome you to come!

    This semester the Tea Time classes have started for the second year and have been going really well! These classes are for adults at or beginners level or higher and we currently have them in English and French. The classes have a focus on vocabulary and grammar that would be useful in a business and everyday life. For example this semester we practiced giving directions or how to give instructions.
