The circus is at Friends the next couple of days! Every good circus has a great act and so today we worked on ours - juggling! After learning circus terms in English the kids were given balloons, bird seed, and plastic bags. With these items we mad our juggling balls. First they filled the plastic bag with bird seed and put that inside a ballon with the top cut off. Two more balloons were then put around the outside of the first one. Then we started practice!
After the children became skilled jugglers ;) we went inside and worked on coloring our masks for the circus. Because our country this week is Canada our masks were inspired by Cirque Du Soleil, which originated from there. The kids worked hard on the designs for the masks and got to see some videos about Cirque Du Soleil.
