The performers were back perfecting their act today. To get ready we watched part of a performance from Cirque Du Soleil. It was beautiful and told a sweet story about girl that was taken to an imaginary world. If only doing their tricks were as easy as it seemed! Juggling is a lot harder than it seems. With the video for inspiration we set to work. Yesterday we only made two juggling balls and practiced with those. Today, we made the third ball and became true jugglers!
After that the kids got the masks the colored yesterday and painted each others faces like the mask they had drawn. It was funny when they would look at each other and laugh at what had been painted on but had not seen their own face yet. Once they realized they didnt know what their own face looked like they rushed to the closest mirror to see what they looked like. It was a fun time teaching them about Cirque Du Soleil.
