Making Bread and Llanca History

On this beautiful day we had today the kids learned some cooking skills and then learned about the history in Llanca.
As you can see bread making was hard work ;). The children learned common cooking ingredients such as yeast, flour, and dough. To make the dough for the whole camp we needed some help for our friend Mr Rostoy Dry that came from Illa de Wight! After the dough was made the kids got to walk around the local market and see fresh produce.
While we were in town we stopped at two of Llanca´s historic places: the under ground tunnel and the tower. The kids got to escape the heat in the cool caves and learn what makes the tunnels important. Then they got to see all of the city from up in the tower and learned about some of the farming tools that use to be used.
To wrap up the day we went over vocabulary and shaped our dough into all kids of interesting shapes.
