The first activity was riding bikes. The students got to ride there bikes to a isolated pond and learn about crawfish or in Catalan cran. The bike ride took them past beautiful horses and through different types of terrane such as hills, dirt paths, and forests. Once they arrived at the pond they were able to take a break and catch the crawfish and look at all the types of animals that lived near the pond. After that they rode their bikes to small patch of trees and learned navigation skills in english. They had to guide themselves north, east, south, and west.
While one group was walking and riding bikes the rest of the kids were enjoying the sea. With everyone in lifejackets we headed out on the ocean in kayaks! Our fun instructor Chavi taught them how to paddle and then had us doing all kids of tricks. For example one challenge was to line up all the kayaks and then a person from a kayak on one end had to switch spots with another person from the opposite end.
