Tuesday already! Day two of learning about America. After more vocabulary we learned a lot about the music that has come from there. All the classes watched a selection of music videos from well known artist there and had to come up with a skit to the music and words. Afterwards the whole camp gathered together for a grand performance. It was great to see what they came up with and which artists they picked. They chose a range of songs including country, pop, and even a musical.
Next we did some crafts. Remember the sand and sea shells we collected the past two weeks? Well today was the day to use them! Each class got a sea shells, sand, glue, and a wooden sqaure. With this materials they made frames. After putting glue on the edges of the wood they then decorated with the items from the beach. To wrap up the day we went over more vocabualry and listened to more music from America.
