ESCOLA D'IDIOMES FRIENDS

        Wow! Half of our last week is gone! We had the perfect activities for this hot day though. First we took the summer camp to the local market. Before entering we discussed the items they would see inside in English and some things that maybe originated from America or are common there. Once the kids were in groups, it was time to walk around and practice the terms they learned. One group even got to try an orange, thanks to a kind vendor.
        After the market it was time to cool off, with a water fight! The kids had so much fun doing this. We took them to a park that has a basketball court and got them in two lines to play game. In the game you number all the people playing in each line. Then one of the counselors would call out a random number. The person from each line with the number called then had to race to the middle the fastest. In the middle were buckets of water that they threw on each other. They were learning english and didnt even know it ;).
        We cant wait to make the most of the rest of our time here!
