The Game Show

    Yesterday the monitors planned a fun game show for the kids to do outside. It involved 2 seperate rounds: questions and challenges. For this the kids went to the salança. Once there we grouped them into teams of 5 and they made up a name for their team. For the first round the monitors asked a question and then one person from each group would have to run and touch the hand of a monitor. Whoever made it to the hand first got to answer the question. It they got the question correct they would earn 3 points for their team.
    For the rest of the game show we had to come back to the school due to the rain. It didn't stop the competitors from trying hard though. The second round was the challenges. This involved all sorts of things like doing push ups, naming vocabualry, or finding a tomatoe in a bucket of flour without using your hands. Each challenge was worth 5 points. In the end team the kings won the game show! Congratulations.
    The little kids were having a mini game show of themselves. Their game show was a little different than the game show for the older kids though. For instance the did a challenge with ballons and had to reach into a bag while blind folded and guess what the object is.
    It was also Ana Mar's (the monitor for our youngest class) birthday! We hope you had a great birthday!
