A wonderful rainy morning

What started being a lousy rainy day has become a wonderful opportunity to stay in the class and make some crafts! First thing in the morning, when the kids arrived into the class, we all played some board games like "Scrabble" and "Who is Who?", that helped them a lot acquiring new vocabulary with the help of a dictionary. We also played Jenga for a bit, and the smaller kids had a lot of fun building the biggest tower trying not to make the rest of the bricks fall down.

As you know, we are all trying to become the best pirates so that's why we already have a patch but most importantly we need... the hook! So we put ourselves in the making and started with some aluminium foil in order to make the hook, and a plastic glass that will be covered in paper and glue for the next days.

By the end of the class it was already time for us to paint the mural, and so we began mixing paint in order to have different shades and colours. The result is getting dry now and hopefully tomorrow we will be able to hang it on the wall.
