This week started with a viedo about outer space. Monday after the norman morning routine of song writing and breakfast, the kids learned the names in English of the planets and learned facts about each planet. The rest of the day was dedicated to clay! We made crabs, planets, and lots more!
Tuesday was Goose Game day. This game is a blast for the kids and requires that they read and understand rules in English. All the kids in the camp are divided into groups of five or six. The each group starts on a number on the Goose Game game board. Next the kids have to search for their groups number thats written on a hidden card around the park. Each numbered card is different and requiers the children complete different tasks. For example they have to mime a movie or make a goal against one of the camp counselors. They had to work fast as there were 20 cards to find and complete.
Wednesday we went all around Llançà. After breakfast the kids were given a an envelope and a map. Inside the envelope was a clue that lead them to another place. The clues took the kids all over and had descriptions the kids had to read and talk about to understand. Once the children deciphered the clue they could move on to the next place in town. We had hidden envelopes in places like the tourism office, by the beach, or in statues. Finally the last clue took the children to the secret tunnel in the plaza. Once there the kids had to venture inside to find their treasure.
We have been having a great week and hope you're having a good week as well! Enjoy our fun pictures of the activites:
