Ahoy! Little pirates aboard!

Who said goodbye? On Friends Summer Fun casal there are still some brave kids who were corageous enough to join us in another adventure during this month of August. Do you want to know what we've been up to?

On Friday we started this journey by having a blast in the beach! We went to Farella, and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the water and looking for small seashells in the sand. They didn't know they were going to become pirates very soon...!

On Monday, they officially became pirates by writing the first page of their Pirate Journal! On that day, we discovered more about pirates and created our own one from scratch. The kids got to decide his pirates' favourite food, colour, animal, island and even their favourite sea monster!

Yesterday we went to the mountain, and the kids were surely amazed by the views! When we got to our destination, we played some games by the shadow and ate the blackberries we had been picking on our way there. When we got back to the school, we played a little bit of twister and we wrote a new page in our journal.

And finally today, we created a colorful candle holder the kids will be able to take home by the end of the week. To set them in the "pirate mood", we also crafted our personal pirate patch. You can definitely tell they are promising little pirates, all you hear is "AHOY" and "ARRR" in the class! Beware for tomorrow, as little pirate games will challenge their skills and knowledge!
