Last Day of Camp

    Friday was the last day of camp for a lot of our campers! It was a fun day but it was also a little sad to see them go. As a way to remember the camp we made a small book for the kids that everyone could sign and write a note in. The other day we took some pictures of the whole camp together so we put a group photo in the autograph book. The kids then had to fold the paper and decorate their book by adding a title page and drawing a photo. Then everyone got to walk around and sign eachothers books.
    When the books were finished we started putting the finishing touches on the songs the kids have been working on. Over the course of the camp the kids had to choose music and then write their own lyrics to it in English. Since the kids got to decide the music and lyrics this made them really excited about the song and they have put a lot of work into it. To make it a really special experience we invited the parents to come and watch. Before we knew it it was time for the familys to arrive so with our faces painted and the songs ready we started the show! The kids did really great!
    On behalf of the Friends School we hope you all enjoyed the show. It was pleasure to get to have the kids at camp! This has been a great summer and its been so nice to have fun and learn at the same time.
